HeartBeats Bows at the Kennedy
Center

On Monday, July 1, 2002, HeartBeats
received a staged reading at the John F. Kennedy Center for the
Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
This FREE performance at 7 p.m. in the AFI Theater, was part of
the annual showcase of Playground, the playwrights'
workshop founded at Woolly Mammoth Theater by former
playwright-in-residence, Robert Alexander.
Monte J. Wolfe, Ricardo Frederick Evans and
Patricia Williams joined Jae
Duncan, Eric Nicholson, Marlon Russ, Rasheed Omar
Ali and original 1992 cast members Michael
Sainte-Andress and George Swales in this
latest reading of the revised script.
